Tibet Extension with Mt. Everest Base Camp

This extension takes us to the heart of Tibet and to the base of Mt. Everest. We begin with a flight to Lhasa capitol of old Tibet and seat of the Dalai Lama. Then we will drive over high passes through the edges of the Himalayas to Tingri. From there we will continue our adventure to visit the Rongbuk Monastery were we should be able to view the northern slope of the highest peak in the world - Mt. Everest elevation 29,035 feet. This is once in a lifetime trip for those that like a great adventure. You will be traveling above 5,000 meters.
